Student Accounting - Prosoft Technologies Our student management system is provided by a local vendor in Bethel Park, PA. This application tracks all of our student information including: demographic, attendance, health, scheduling, grades and special ed data. Student Accounting links with other systems in the district by creating automated exports of student information used in our automated calling system, cafeteria management system, and gradebook software. Prosoft works dilligently to help our district comply with the State of PA's requirements for the new Pennsylvania Information Managment System (PIMS). Edinsight Data Window - On Hand Schools This web-based tool is used by our teachers to view real-time data from multiple sources in one convienient application. It links attendance, enrollment and discipline information from Prosoft Student Accounting and test scores from Scantron, Dibels and PSSAs. The advanced reporting functions allow teachers to view trends over time and use drill-down reports to access more detailed information on a classroom and individutal level. GradeQuick Web - Jackson Software GradeQuick Web is a web-based gradebook that teachers can access from any computer with an internet connection. Our district used the Windows version and upgraded to the Web version during the 07-08 school year. This program tracks and sends attendance and grades to our student management system. The reporting module of this software, Site Reporter, is used by our guidance offices to view student progress and print progress reports. Connect-Ed - Blackboard Connect, Inc. Connect-Ed is our district's notification system for parents and staff. This system is hosted off-site and allows administrators to create messages by recording them in their own voice, or using the text-to-speech feature. This system is used to notify staff and students about weather delays, emergencies and other important news. All student phone numbers and updates are automatically exported from our student accounting system and imported into Connect-Ed each night. Staff and Parents can also receive email and text messages through this system.
