Newbery Winner Reading Program Challenge The Newbery Award Winner Reading Program challenges readers of all ages to read all of the Newbery Award Winning books of their lifetime. Upon completing the challenge, readers will be awarded the "Distinguished Reader" medal and have their name inscribed on a a plaque in the South Allegheny Literacy Center.
