On April 28, 2011, six of Pittsburgh's largest foundations attended a meeting at South Allegheny School District. The focus of the meeting was to establish partnerships which will help the District with the following initiatives:
The South Allegheny School District would like to expand its ability to offer students and community members services and programs focusing on wellness and workforce development by establishing partnerships with regional foundations and support organizations.

We would like to thank everyone who participated on April 28th. Five of Six foundations expressed an interest and personal meetings with each foundation will be scheduled to continue discussing our partnerships.
