"ME" FIRST: - I am a happily married father of four children, aged: 20, 14, 7, and 1.
- In 1991 I joined the United States Navy. Seventeen years and five squadrons later, this AM2/AW (Aviation Structural Mechanic/ second-class petty-officer/ Air Warfare Specialist) is beginning preparations for retirement. My latest command is VR-53 at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland.
- In 1999 I graduated from Duquesne University's School of Education with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education & Elementary Education.
- South Allegheny gave me my first teaching position in the 1999-2000 school year. I have been the I.S.S. Proctor, a Senior Health teacher, a special education teacher (a.k.a. " jack of all trades") and am currently involved in coteaching Algebra I with Mr. MacPherson and Algebra II with Mr. Togyer.
- I have also been trying to "kick-start" a J.R.O.T.C. program at the high School.
- At present, I am one credit shy of my Master of Education Degree in Administrative Policy Studies. This will be accompanied by Principal and Curriculum Supervisor certifications.
