Welcome to Mr. MacPherson's Webpage.

About Myself:

• I received a BA from Allegheny College in Managerial Economics with a minor in Mathematics in 2003.
• I worked at Dollar Bank from 2003-2005
• I received a MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) from the University of Pittsburgh in Secondary Mathematics Education (7-12) (2005-2006)
• I completed a year long internship at Dorseyville Middle School at the Fox Chapel Area School District in grades 6-8 (2005-2006)
• I worked at Derry Area School District, teaching grades 8 and 9 (2006-2007)
• I currently teaching Algebra I, Math Plus (PSSA), and SAT Preparation in the High School
• I am the assistant varsity baseball coach here at South Allegheny

I believe that all students, if they are willing to put forth effort both in and outside of class, have the ability to learn math.  But only YOU can make that decision!  No one else can make it for you.
