My Home Page - Room 129
It's almost time for a new school year! I cannot wait! See you August 22!
Please feel free to contact me by email, notes or telephone with any concerns about your child. I am a firm believer in a strong school-home connection. Parents and caregivers are a child's first teacher. You play a vital part in your child's academic success.
We can do anything together!
Remember if your child is absent, it is their responsibility to make up work.
If a child is absent 1 day, they have 1 day to make up work. If they are absent 2 days, they have 2 days.
You can always check your child's grades utilizing iPass on line. Contact the technology department for an access code. There is a quick link on the left hand side of our home page www.southallegheny.org
Your child records his/her homework daily in the assignment tracker. This tracker is a communication tool between school and home. Please check it daily for homework and other important announcements. Students are responsible for completing all assignments. A Fifth Grade Homework Policy is in place. Missed assignments are documented in a note card in front of the trackers.
The assignment tracker MUST BE SIGNED NIGHTLY after you verify all homework is completed.
Refer to the Fifth Grade Homework Policy concerning missed assignments.
This website is designed to help students and parents with information about our classroom. If there is something that you would like to see included, please contact me.
We eat Lunch C 12:25AM-1:05PM

Drop Everything and Read
Students must have a book to read for pleasure. Students benefit tremendously from reading. I believe that developing a love of reading is key to success. Please encourage your child to READ!!!!
