NEW CENTURY CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:
Greetings all,Over the past several months I, along with other staff members at New Century Careers, have been welcomed into your school to meet with staff, speak with students and teachers and attend career fairs. NCC is very thankful for being given the opportunity to share information about the MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K) Training Program that leads to a rewarding career in precision machining and manufacturing.Located on the South Side of Pittsburgh, New Century Careers offers tuition-free training for aspiring machinists and provides career readiness and placement assistance with SWPA manufacturing companies. NCC also manages the NTMA Pittsburgh apprenticeship program, which often allows M2K completers to go on to obtain their Journey Worker papers. As the year winds down, please keep in mind this trade and training program as a viable career option for some of the soon-to-be 2018 graduates. Additionally, consider family, relatives, friends and neighbors who may also be interested in the M2K training program and a career in machining and manufacturing. The demand is very high!View Website for New Century Careers

NEW SAT INFO:
If a student takes the current SAT before March 2016 and then takes the redesigned SAT at a later date, the NCAA Eligibility Center will not combine section scores from the current and redesigned SAT when determining a student's initial eligibility. The NCAA Eligibility Center will only combine section scores from the same versionjor o of the test. Because the redesigned SAT varies in design and measures different academic concepts than the current SAT, a numerical score on the current test may not be equivalent to the same numerical score on the redesigned test. Students should use recipient code 9999 when sending scores to the NCAA Eligibility Center.Additional information on changes to the SAT can be found here:https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/inside-the-testNew Major Offered at California University of PA:
