Superintendent's Message

Mr. McDonald conversing with students.
As we are preparing for the 22-23 school year, I believe it is critical to reflect and celebrate a few of our accomplishments to date:

Developed a strong 1:1 student device initiative, integrating technology in a meaningful way for our students in grades K-12
Instituted a robust early literacy program at the elementary level, and our youngest learners have demonstrated true meaningful growth
Created and utilized new and creative learning spaces to continue to improve student interest and engagement
Built a new state-of-the-art athletic facility which will not only be the home of our football team, soccer teams, and marching band, but also drive innovative academic programming and community involvement
Obtained over $500,000 in competitive grant funds to improve the overall safety and security of both the elementary and middle/high school buildings.

The time and effort which has been placed on continual improvement at South Allegheny has led to increased recognition and opportunities for our students and our community.  This hard work is crucial for our continued growth and success.  We will continue to strive for excellence in all we do, as we are and will continue to be #SAProud.
