Paraprofessional

Duties:

Classroom Support - classroom organization, resource organization, support teacher,
Student Assistance - one-on-one or small group support, assistance with homework, assignments, quizzes and tests
Behavior Management - implementing behavior plans and assisting teacher with behavior issues
Instructional Assistance: They may assist in delivering instruction, explaining concepts, or helping students complete assignments. This could involve working with individual students or leading small group activities.
Assessment: Paraprofessionals may assist with student assessments, such as administering tests or recording student progress. They often work closely with teachers to collect data on student performance.
Safety and Supervision: Paraprofessionals monitor students during various activities, including recess, lunchtime, and field trips, ensuring their safety and well-being.
