*Admittance is based on screening and diagnostic evaluations completed by a Speech and Language Clinician which indicates that a student is having difficulty.  This is usually detected in the elementary grade levels.
 
Description
 
Common communication problems include: articulation (substitutions, omissions, or distortions), language (understanding/ identifying antonyms, synonyms, idioms, etc., basic concepts, understanding/ giving directions, answering/ asking questions, or understanding/ using correct grammar.)  It can also be the inability to use appropriate social language or convey an idea to others, fluency (stuttering or stammering), and voice (hoarseness, irregular pitch or loudness, too much/ too little nasality.)
